Habitat project to spiff up Harlem Heights homes

Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is partnering with 13 Harlem Heights families for the largest Brush with Kindness project to date.

Habitat’s A Brush with Kindness program partners with families to improve their homes through external house improvements such as pressure washing, painting or new landscaping.

The project will take place from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.

Local families can donate to the $8,000 project’s fundraising goal and reserve their spot to volunteer by visiting https://habitat4humanity.donorpages.com/abrushwithkindness/
